Delete Your Account

You can delete your Tabletop Together account from the app or the web portal any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent - there's no recovery period and no way for us to undo it once it's done.

This page is here so anyone can see what deleting an account does before they do it, and so you have a way to request deletion even if you can't sign in.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Tabletop Together app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab, then tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to the "Delete account" card.
  4. Tap "Delete my account" and type DELETE exactly when prompted.
  5. Confirm one more time - this step deletes everything permanently.

Delete your account in the web portal

  1. Sign in at play.tabletop-together.com.
  2. Open your Profile page and scroll to "Delete account" under Permanent action.
  3. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
  4. Click "Delete my account permanently."

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, photos, game shelf, friendships, referrals, reviews, and messages - both direct messages and event/game-night chat. It also removes your event participation history.

If you host any game nights, seasons, or tournaments, those and their group conversations are deleted for every participant, not just you.

What we keep

Aggregate engagement and analytics records (the kind used to understand overall app usage) are kept, but they're anonymized at the same time your account is deleted - the identifying link to you is removed, so they no longer count as your data.

Hosting a tournament?

If you're hosting a tournament that's open for registration or already in progress, deletion is refused until you finish or cancel it - other players are relying on it. Complete or cancel the tournament, then delete your account normally.

Can't sign in, or have other data questions?

If you can't sign in to use the steps above, email us and we'll take care of deletion for you. The same address is the right place for any other question about what's kept or removed - we don't offer partial deletion of specific data while keeping the rest of an account active.
